Mentoring for aspiring Clinical Psychologists

One of the cornerstones of your application for a place on a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is your personal statement. We can review your form and offer you bespoke feedback on how to improve your form.

Depending on where you are along your journey towards applying for a place on the Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, you may have questions about where to go or what to do next - we can offer you time to discuss this.

Our Clinicians have significant and extensive experience working within the NHS and recruiting to Assistant Psychologist posts. We can offer you a space to discuss applications and interview techniques.

We aim to create a bespoke package of support for you, as already outlined, this might include application form reviews, career coaching; but also role play interviews and development of interview technique.

Wherever you are in your career journey, from GCSE Psychology all the way through to applying for Doctoral Training - we can support you.

Whilst there is a fee attached to this service, the proceeds are used to support aspiring psychologists gain work experience and cover the cost of the free opportunities offered by our team.

Along with the extensive NHS experience, our lead Psychologist has worked as a Clinical Tutor on one of the UK's Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology courses, and is well placed to support aspiring psychologists.

Each year, we will offer several free mentoring opportunities for aspiring psychologists who are from marginalised or disadvantaged backgrounds. This may include those from ethnically diverse backgrounds, low socioeconomic positions, parents/carers, and others.
